Positions & responsibilities are as follows:
President:
The general management of all Organization activities, directing and coordinating each as to achieve the objective of the Organization.
Calling and presiding over meetings of the Executive Committee and the General Body
Assisting the Treasurer in maintaining Organization funds and expenses.
Presenting written reports on the state of the Organization to the annual meeting and in its newsletter (if any).
Delegates work for members and officers
Internal Vice President:
Establishing an efficient link between board members
Helping the president organize and implement events
Works With external Vice President to ensure co-accountability
Manages the email for SOH
Manages the delegation of tasks amongst internal board members
Fills in when the president is not available
External Vice President:
Establishing an efficient link between the Organization and other clubs and organizations on and off campus.
Reply and communicate to outside agencies/people.
Providing support to the Internal Vice President when needed
Drafts emails to members
Creates email templates for external board members
Manages the delegation of tasks amongst external board members
Fills in when the President is not available
Treasurer:
Maintaining the record of all the financial transactions of the Organization.
They shall be responsible for systematic up-keep of books; writing reimbursements, receipts, banking, reconciliations and showing an increase of funds in statements to be made public.
Collecting and depositing all the funds received on behalf of the Organization
Countersigning all withdrawal checks on behalf of the Organization.
Preparing, on being elected, the annual budget of the Organization for the next fiscal year in consultation with the newly elected Executive Committee and presenting the same before the General Body meeting.
Presenting before the Executive Committee a quarterly report on the status of the Organization financial affairs, including in it anonymous donations and total donations received by the Organization.
Internal Board Secretary:
Organizes all incoming data and files it in it’s designated virtual places.
Take notes during meetings.
Maintains an organized Internal Board Google Drive and Email archive.
Main priorities shall be assisting in booking any necessary rooms needed to hold events, keeping track of any necessary dates, and scheduling meetings and calls when prompted by the President or any other officer.
Make a calendar for the semester.
Checking the SOH mailbox every week.
Responds to emails sent to the SOH in a timely manner.
Keep track of organization membership spreadsheets.
Main person to add people to the official roster.
Linking people together or with local resources.
Maintaining the list of members and the volunteers for various functions of the Organization.
Preparing the agenda for the Executive Committee, general body meetings. Also record meeting minutes as needed.
External Board Secretary:
Works in tandem w/ the external Vice President.
Supporting members w/ accommodations
attending meetings w/ the External Vice President.
Maintaining an organized External Board Google Drive as well as the Members portion.
Send emails to members of the community that have been drafted by the External Vice President.
Main priorities shall be assisting in booking any necessary rooms needed to hold events, keeping track of any necessary dates, and scheduling meetings and calls when prompted by the President or any other officer.
May be requested to make a calendar for the semester.
Checking the SOH mailbox every other week.
Responds to emails sent to the SOH email.
Events Director:
Helps with cohesion between directors.
Acts as an editor to all social events by providing final approval
Their main objective is to take control of most if not all of the “social” aspects of the Organization.
Organizing events to be done throughout the semester. (all required for events shall be planned out by the activities coordinator).
The coordinators are expected to work together. They should be the leads of their respective events.
Takes over what was formerly known as the social services committee that was responsible for holding events like homeless drives.
Education Director:
Dedicated to creating educational materials, programming.
Plan/ Hosts collaborative events.
Create a committee that takes care of the following branches
Educating new members:
Ordering Swipe materials and maintaining them.
Holding an information table at least twice a month and when called upon by the Executive Committee.
Educating the general community:
Organizing with the external board on campus and finding the appropriate speakers/people to educate the community about student hunger & the available resources.
College talks:
Organizing the Swipe circle to teach people and discuss the impacts of student hunger.
Organize discussions about different topics that are relevant to the members.
This may involve inviting guest speakers or keeping track of reservations in coordination with the EVP for communications or secretary for room reservations.
Civic Engagement Director:
Creating a safe space for all members of the Organization.
Addressing the civic aspects that are relevant to Swipe Out Hungers student members.
Social Events Director I:
Works with Social Events Director II to prepare events for the community.
Organizes General Meetings, Holds office hours for community members.

Social Media/Marketing Director:
Manages all social media accounts including Facebook, IG, Discord, Twitter. Promotes events approved by the EC.
Entitled to form their own committee for promotional reasons.
Creates flyers and promotes events.
Should submit any flyers to the president or BOD for approval before posting on any platform.
Maintains social media and is able to update accordingly.
Send newsletters via email at least twice a month.
Responsible for sending text messages to members as reminders before events.
Volunteer Coordinator:
Organizes volunteers & works with external boards to secure volunteers for events.
Information & Technology Director:
Manages website, Slack and provides technical support to the Internal & External Board. Works with all board members problem solving and ironing out logistics.
Note:* All positions are voted * Positions 1 - 4 are officer ( can do business with the school ) positions (can do business with the school), positions 6 - 14 are officers (can’t do business with the school) . Every position will receive transitional training from the previous board member.
